Very agreeable with what I suggested listed well to my concerns after the exam was very helpful in letting me know what he thought was best for my overall health and future. Made eye contact while talking to me and spoke to me like a human and not a number and that really helps a patient feel more comfortable and trustworthy with the doctor. Thank you!

I really like Dr. Schild. Very easy to talk to. Ive been seeing him ever since I moved to New London in 2007. I hope doesnt retire anytime soon. I will miss him very much when he does retire.

Loved the dentist!! Didnt feel him giving me the shot at all, he didnt try to talk to me while working on my tooth (so I didnt feel like I had to answer with my mouth stretched wide open =D ) and the massage chair absolutely rocked!! It was the easiest dentist appointment ever Thank you to both Dentist & his assistant (apologies for not remembering names- first visit since covid!)

I appreciated that the dentist gave me a minimum amount of novacain, at my request, as I do not like to have a numb mouth and tongue for several hours. I also appreciated that he took the time to adjust the crown a couple times when I felt like it was too tall.

wasnt my dentist I was expecting so I felt wildly uncomfortable. my last doctor would talk things though as he was doing it or talk about this to me that he knew I was interested to help ease some of the fear I have of the dentist. this new one that was suddenly sprung onto me didnt take the time to get to know me and make me feel comfortable. the nurse and the doctor just talked about church the whole time, something I dont even believe in.

As stated earlier, this is our first year with this practice. My only thought/concern is that when the dentist does his exam after a cleaning he does not look at or hold onto my tongue and look under it etc. In the past the dentist at our other locations did this. I just remembered it after my last visit and I will be sure to ask if this is not a necessary thing anymore?

He wanted to do work on a tooth that didnt hurt. I kept telling him thats not the tooth that is giving me problems, then he would go off about my teeth and wanted to treat the tooth that was NOT hurting. I got a second opinion and he was dead wrong. I just had an infection in my tooth and was put on antibiotics. IF the pain continued IF, then he recomended an endodontic. he wanted to do a root canal in a tooth that i already had a root canal in. this is the second time He has tried to steer me in the wrong direction. He also has done the same thing to my husband. But we have decided to not go to that office. we are going to go to a different office even if it means driving farther. or finding a new dentist.

I don't think my dentist took my tooth pain as seriously as necessary. I have had sensitivity for the past year and he told me to use a sensitivity toothpaste... Which I have been doing for the past year. I am not convinced that the toothpaste is going to help.

I thought I had chipped a tooth on lower tooth closest to my tongue. It felt different and rough, but I couldn't see the tooth. Dr. Schild smoothed the area out and didn't charge me for it.

The ONLY thing that I ever disliked about any dentist is the fact that they start you, go to someone else, then hop back and forth. I am nervous enough without waiting for them to do someone else.

This was my first time to a Dental Assoc office. At this point, I hesitate to evaluate the experience. I am coming from another dentist with whom I was for 10+ years. I was a little unsettled at the process at Dental Assoc. When I first went into the hallway when called in, I was taken to a computer terminal for a picture --- I was NOT asked if my picture could be taken, nor told what it was for ... until I exhibited some hesitation. I value my personal space and personal privacy ... this just was very different for me ... My comments are not intended to be negative. My husband had fore-warned me that I should expect a little more of an assembly line experience at Dental Assoc. His words ... but really not too far off. Again, I am coming from being at a previous dentist for 10+ years, and before that a dentist for another 10+ years. So until I have further experiences at Dental Associates, this is all I can say at this time. I dont have a real feel for the staff at this point, but that is not a negative comment. I guess I will have more to say after appointments with endodontist for probable root canal therapy.

My filling had to be redone 3 times, before it was done correctly and then was told not to floss because that is why the filling came out the previous two times.

My only issue is that I chipped a tooth, and made an appointment to get it fixed. I had x-rays and an exam, but thought I was going to have it fixed, and had to make another appointment for the fix. Not exactly what I thought was going to happen

Dentist knew I was feeling the pain but never stopped the procedure or asked me if the pain was tolerable or if I was OK. (I was surprised at this because he is usually very in-tune & thoughtful towards discomfort.)

Dr. Schields is phenomenal! I couldn't wish for a better dentist - he gives me so much confidence and comfort knowing that I am his patient! I would not want to see anyone else - I travel miles ot of my way to see HIM.

I think 5 total minutes with a patient is ridiculous. I didn't realize the dentist only checked for cavities and left to go be with another patient. I thought the dentist performed the actual cleaning
