As a service to our patients we will provide an estimate of costs prior to services rendered. All co-payments or other out-of-pocket expenses will be due at time of service. Dental Associates will submit all claims directly to the patient's insurance company. The insurance company will determine the benefit reimbursement. Any remaining balance is the patient's responsibility.

I was replacing a temporary that broke while waiting for the permanent crown so I was seen by his exceptional assistant shes great and since Dr Smart has been my dentist for at least 17 / 18 years If he didnt rate high on my scale he wouldnt have performed dental work on me for all these years in all those visits I like how solid his team interactions are thats impressive speaks mountains in itself

Dentist came in and talked for about 2 minutes. Said roof canal or extraction then said he would be right back,. Never came back. Was given a short explanation of which he would recommend. But really didnt go over any risks or benefits to each one. Dental assistant made it clear on her stance which she would do but also conflicted with the other dentist I saw previously in the same office before referred to the specialist. So instead of clarity was left with more confusion. Also brought up my concern about root canals and was brushed off that there were no risks associated. I just want honesty, to be heard, and make an informative decision with the most knowledge about each procedure, I know they see hundreds of cases a day but its a big deal to someone who isnt used to having work done

I would definitely recommend to friends or family. I didnt feel judged in any way. My dentist explained everything to me about not only my dental plan but helped me realize I needed to get my high blood pressure under control! Very pleased with my appointment

Dr. Smart & his Assistant Lonnie made sure my brother understood what they were going to do . My brother lives in a Memory Care Fascility for his Dementia. Dr. Smart & his Assistant Lonnie worked exceptionally well with my brother. He likes & trusts his Dentist, Dr. Smart. Lonnie made sure he was safely & comfortly positioned in in the dental chair. Things always go well!

Dr. Greg Smart was outstanding. I called the office at 3:15 as one of my teeth had been throbbing and the pain level was increasing. Dr. Smart said he would squeeze me in at 4:00, which is unbelievable. He took the time to explain my option and made some great recommendations for longer-term care and maintenance for my teeth. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Smart for his customer-service focus and his professionalism.

Dr. Smart said he would squeeze me in at 4:00, which is unbelievable. He took the time to explain my option and made some great recommendations for longer-term care and maintenance for my teeth. I was very disappointed in this appointment. I went strictly for a consultation to have my upper teeth removed for dentures. The dentist came in and didnt even introduce himself to me. He told me I had a bad infection my upper teeth, and then went on to examine my bottom teeth. He didnt talk about dentures at all, which is why I was there. I didnt find him to be friendly at all. He gave me the feeling he didnt want to be there at all. When he was done he was just going to have me leave. I asked him what am I supposed to do my upper tooth is in pain. So he says I guess I can give you some antibiotics, but you cant live on those. Otherwise he would have just sent me on my way with a bad tooth infection. He did advise me to set up a consultation for my bottom gum, as he said I have a gum infection. I will eventually do that; however I am in pain in my upper teeth, and have to have them removed.

Dr provided information only when asked about options, payment, client preferences, etc. He provided inaccurate information about costs (rather than referring me to someone would could provide accurate information), stated that it had been years since I had been there (it was actually about 15-16 months), seemed to have no concern about how we could work around my schedule (babysitting, out of town guests, etc) and in general didnt seem to care about anything other than what was most convenient for him.

When I was in the prior week for a cleaning, the Dentist was very thorough with the explanation of drilling out old fillings that were cracked and chipped. He showed me with a mirror. Then explained why this was necessary. The next week when the procedure was complete, was thorough with what he found, etc.

assumed that I would have an expensive procedure. the procedure is a best case scenario but not necessary. I resent that it was assumed that there were no other options and that I would just say "sure thing". it should have been put as a recommendation, not a mandate.

I walked in there in pain while not severe I was in discomfort. In the five minuets that I seen the dentist he told me that I did not have an abscess and that was a relief. Than I was told that I would have to come back to get a filling I ask why and was told this was just an exam . I understand that I need an exam first but I was there to get the tooth fixed and I explained this to everyone I talked to. I also had to ask him to even seal my tooth to help out until I could get it fixed.

The doctor acted as if I had the worst teeth in the world. He was rude, made me feel uncomfortable & ashamed. He embarrassed me in front of everyone there. I wondered why I had waited so long to come back & then I remembered - it was him. I WON'T BE BACK!!

The Dental Assistant and Hygienist were very friendly, explained what they were doing and made me feel very comfortable. They also seemed to have a very good relationship with Dr. Smart. Dr. Smart took extra care in reviewing my ex-rays since I had breast cancer and radiation treatments.

Dr. Smart does use terminology I can understand, when he actually takes the time to do so. He is usually in a rush to get in and out of the operating area, and takes little to no time to finish fillings properly: the fillings I get from him all have rough, protruding edges and do not last long. Given, I do have many fillings and always have, but I've never had fillings give me this much trouble in such a short time. I mentioned the rough edges one time, and he was indignant about smoothing or polishing, and when I said 'can't food get caught in those edges and start decay?' he said 'not really'. I'm no dentist, but I know that statement to be untrue. Those issues aside, Dr. Smart is pleasant to talk to and very conscientious about pain during procedures.

Despite the poor quality of work, I have recommended DA to a couple friends because of the low cost. Neither the friends nor I are financially secure, so DA is our best option. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The doctor was not available on my initial visit and the tech guy took care of me. Then, when I was scheduled to come in a day after the holiday (Labor Day) the doctor had "called in sick." I was not notified, and I drove approximately 1 hr to my appt.

He didn't spend time identifying the issues in my mouth. I had to complain several times about specific areas before he identified them. I worry there are asymptomatic areas in my mouth that he never even bothered to look at.

My dentist is very caring. However, I wish that there were not multiple patients that he sees at the same time that he treats me. He generally goes back and forth between patients. Therefore, I don't always feel I get his undivided attention
