Dr. Laspisa was fantastic. Amicable and understanding. And for once someone listened to me!
Everything was explained thoroughly
Even though I had a tooth pulled, it was a good experience
The dentist did an outstanding job!!
Dr Ward was our initial contact for a root canal but we decided with him that there was a good probability that it would not work on my 87 year old mom He was very knowledgeable and kind and we both really appreciated his kind manner I was not in the room for the extraction but my mom said everything was good with Dr LaSpisa I would definitely recommend this Dental Associates to others Also all the staff were kind and answered all our questions. Thank you all!!
Dr. LaSpisa was excellent. Very good bedside manner and explanations.
The only reason I am filling this form out is to express how well the 2 I had worked together I would love to make him and her my family doctors
Dr Lipasia is awesome
Both doctor and assistant were personal as well as professional
The service was good
Consultation very worthwhile. Doctor took his timeAnd was patient with my ignorance.
Dr. LaSpisa had a very nice chair-side manner. He was friendly and professional. He answered my questions and did his best to reassure me. His after-care directions were clear.
Again, I thought the dentist was okay. He did his job and attempted to make me feel comfortable. He briefly explained what would occurred. Spent a lot of time telling jokes but maybe that was his way of living up the room. He explained post op care rather quick after the procedure. I asked if any of the information would be written down and he said care would be explained on the prescriptions and basically sent me on my way.
Dr. LaSpisa was fantastic. He listened to my concerns and asked questions. He showed compassion.
My dentist was very nice and explained everything thoroughly
Dr. Laspisa also made my experience very pleasurable, even though i was getting 2 teeth extracted.
Very professional and personable.
Very good experience with him
Dr Laspisa is very personable!
Best service I have ever had at dental associates.
I had a very thorough discussion of my treatment
Dr. Laspsia went out of his way to explain my treatment options In language and examples, and spent time answering all my questions.
The doctor had a great sense of humor helping to calm me down. He was excellent!
My dentist was excellent
He was the kindest dentist Ive ever had and did a wonderful job with my tooth extraction.
Dr. LaSpisa was confident and helpful. He listened to my fears and concerns and still remained calm through the entire process.
The Dr. Was fantastic. He had such a warm and friendly (comical) way of addressing a very serious situation. He explained the process and he listened. He and Kathy (Assistant) did an excellent job of putting me at ease with the situation.
Actually they made my experience very enjoyable. I dont think Ive said that before ! They seemed to have shown genuine sincerity and care. They can work on me any time.
My oral surgeon was amazing as he always is. Professional, kind and sweet. Very concerning when it comes to his patients which I love.
Very good experience and made sure I was comfortable, every step of the way.
He was a nice guy
The before video was very good and the dentist listened to all of my concerns and made me feel at ease.
He was very patient during local anesthesia and super kind when reminding me to breathe. His assistant Jaden was also very kind
I really appreciate Dr. Laspisas and his nurses patience with me so I could make an informed decision.
This was probably the best experience you could have when it comes to getting a tooth pulled. I was super worried it was going to be a really unpleasant experience but he made it as pleasant as possible.
The dentist and assistant talked to me the entire time to make sure I was comfortable. The dentist even told jokes to calm me down. I experienced no pain besides the needle prick but there was numbing gel applied first so it wasnt that bad. For the first time I was not in a lot of pain from a tooth extraction after the medicine wore off. The dentist and the entire staff did an excellent job.
Dr LaSpisa was FANTASTIC! He is very knowledgeable and so personal while being extremely professional! As a patient he makes you feel very comfortable and confident you will be receiving great care!
Dr. Laspisa did a perfect job explaining my current dental issues and my options to deal with them.
Dr. did an excellent job putting me at ease. The procedure itself was a breeze. I was totally surprised when it was over. My recovery is quick and I am not in any pain. I would recommend this doctor to everyone.
Dr. LasSpisa was very thorough.
Very patient and kind.
Dr.LaSpisa showed professionalism, and great knowledge when we discussed my procedure.
Exceptional demonstration of patience and understanding with my son during his oral procedure who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder and who was moderately resistant during the procedure. Dr. LaSpisa even took the time to check on the comfort level of my son and myself before, during and following the procedure which was extremely stressful for all participants involved.
Dr. Laspisas is amazing ! Hes very kind , patient and thorough. He was great!!
He is a great dentist, I appreciate the time he spends explaining everything and his expertise. I had just switched from Forward Dental and was anxious but I have been very happy with Dental Associates
Dr. Ekta Desai and her treatment team provided the best service! As someone with anxiety, they took the time to carefully discuss, review and explain my options. They were patient, diligent and thorough. Dr. Desai was compassionate and helped me feel at ease by using simple language.
Dr. LaSpisa and his team were incredibly welcoming, patient, and took time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable.
Made sure I was comfortable. Had Oral Surgery & didnt feel anything he finished 3 teeth without me knowing they were out!
Doctor Laspisa made me feel really relaxe . when I came in here I was so nervous . He spent a lot of time explaining things to me along with his assistant. Great job by both !!
He was understanding...a good listener...reduced my fears...explained procedures well... no pain!
I would describe my experience of being above-average !
He made me feel relieved because I am a difficult patient due to many dental procedures in my lifetime.
they made me feel really comfortable with my treatment!
I like that Dr LaSpisa gas a sense of humor n that help with my anxiety. Hes awesome.
Did not explain what he did after the treatment - especially what was not expected. Very poor social interaction.
Nicely done to bring me onboard, to explain
Dr. Laspisa made me very comfortable and soothed all my worries about my procedure.
The service I received from the Dr. Dentist and his Assistant was really Great! I was pleased with the excellent and on time service I received.
Dr. Laspisa went the ext. 19 mile & make sure I was aware of the process.
Really great guy, extremely easy to talk to.
My dentist, very professional through; put me at ease.
This was a second consultation. The previous doctor had not given me the different treatment options available. This doctor gave me various options with a recommendation that could work best for me.
not a people person
The dentist and dental assistant were thorough in explaining the procedure and follow up care. They also reassured me that I could contact them with any questions or concerns.
Dr. LaSpisa was very thorough and handled my sons procedure with care!!
very professional and competent.
Quality and caring visit
I would have rather had someone else do my surgery! He was hitting my other three teeth in my mouth with the instruments he was using to take our my tooth. I would have rather been put to sleep for this surgery. I was very nervous and I started to cry and the doctor said, to me I DONT KNOW WHY YOUR CRYING! I wanted to say, because YOUR HURTING ME! However, I just sat there and wanted him to get done with my mouth! I didnt want to make him mad!
Had a tooth pulled & everyone was very reassuring.
Dr LaSpisa is a great Doctor. He is caring, concerned and thorough in his treatment. (Tooth implant).
The dentist customer service skills is excellent!
Dr. LaSpisa made me feel comfortable, answered all of my questions and explained my treatment options.
I have a serious phobia about having my teeth pulled but Dr. Laspisa was understanding and very patient and compassionate.
communication was good from beginning to end.
He went above and beyond tp make sure I was comfortable,
Dr. LaSpisa was extremely courteous, friendly and reassuring! I had MANY questions and he was patient and thorough with his explanations.
worst experience ever and I will never come back!
very quick and efficient. I would have liked after care directions to take home
If anything, there was more information available than I needed.
the doctor was concerned for my overall well being . he did a great job helping my teeth and making me look better
The dentist was very friendly making my experience as pleasant as could be considering the circumstances.
Very understanding about procedure concerns and options.
Dr and his staff were very comforting to my daughter and took the time to explain the procedure to put her a little more at ease.
Very personable. I was very nervous and he calmed me down with his lightheartedness and humor.
Dr. Laspisa (sp) was very thorough, very skilled and I was completely satisfied.
Rush in & out.
Surgeon did not show me exactly what tooth he needs to extract. Only showed xray and told me what number. Surgeon needed to know exactly where gum infection was, applied topical numbing agent and inserted cones in area. I was in pain and doctor was just telling me to relax and calm down. Insensitive to level of pain. Does not seem to be concerned about patients comfort level. Did not apply more topical agent. This is a concern for moving forward with surgery. May return to previous dentist in other location who was gentler and more concerned and made sure area was numb to perform procedure.
Dr LaSpisa was amazing keeping me calm and explaining what would be best for my treatment long term
explained everything very well
Dr Laspisa and his staff are great!
Dr. Laspisa and his team took great care of me. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.
Excellent, explanation including clearing up a root canal I thought I had that didnt exist.
great dental assistant worker- very gifted
I felt very comfortable during the appointment but the dentist and the assistant showed they cared and made sure I knew what was going on.
He also was excellent I believe he could. tell I was uncomfortable, he made me feel at ease, and what was even better he pulled my tooth and I didnt even know that he was finished which made me even happier. I left the office feeling really good. The experience wasnt nearly as painful as I thought it would be. He was very reassuring. I just cannot say enough good things about him ,his assistant Mr. Pablo the whole experience was great considering I avoid the dentist as much as possible. I have been in need of this work for about 2 years, putting. it off as much as I could. Kudos to all of your staff who helped me, especially Joseph A. LaSpisa EXCELLENT work. Thank you soooo much.
this was the third time I came in for this procedure. They thought again that it was a consult. But they decided to do the procedure anyway. There was no explanation at the end of the procedure as how to care for the wound once I got home. I had to ask the assistant who didnt seem to really know either .
Dentist was friendly and made me feel comfortable
The dentist was amazing, was able to accommodate me by performing a consult and wisdom tooth extraction the same day. was very quick and painless. It was greatly appreciated. The dental assistants were very kind as well and very helpful and caring.
Excellent care by the doctor and staff.
Dr Laspisa is very warm and personable, with a nice sense of humor. Great traits to have, especially in the dental field.
explained what I needed done very well in a way I could easily understand
Very comfortable experience. Quick and painless
he didnt wait, put in needle and starting pulling tooth immediately, then told me to raise my left had if it hurt. why should it hurt if you bothered to make sure anthistic was working
Saw two separate dentists - both were very caring and I appreciate what they did for me. Unfortunately, my treatment plan had to be changed and Im wondering if it was because the dentist was so busy the first available appointment for him was 2 months from the original date he saw me. When he saw me 2 months ago my tooth was not loose...infected but not loose. I thought it was the crown that was loose but it was the tooth - so with that said it had to be removed. He was very nice and helpful about it and even spoke with another dentist to see if he could squeeze me in to have this tooth removed since it has been bothering for more than the two months. Dr. LaSpisa (sp) was able to do the removal then so I didnt have to come back.
had appointment for teeth extractionswas not numb enoughdentist started pulling teeth and it hurt very bad. had to give more numbing agent but was really not happy with dr or the experience. would not come back here or recommend to anyone else
The nurse was a huge help and was very friendly.
I felt that the dentist did not thoroughly explain my options for anesthesia and seemed to insist that I choose an option for getting my wisdom teeth removed with out much information. Seemed rushed and did not care about my concerns. I dont trust this dentist and decided I dont want to work with him for my wisdom teeth removal. I tried to schedule a consult. With a different oral surgeon, but unfortunately my insurance wont cover another consultation. Very disappointed with this experience.
cant say enough how great my visits have been
he was very good it was just a tooth pull.
Dr. Laspisa is really exceptional, very thorough and professional. He gives really easy and complete information.
The female asst was amazing. She calmed and joked around with my daughter easing her fears. The dentist was great too.
He was amazing, Ive been afraid of the dentist for years, now I cant wait to go back.
This was the first time I met this dentist. He walked in said hello, I responded Hi how are you today? His response was livin the dream His next remark was about suicide...then said I shouldnt joke my good friend just committed suicide. Very strange conversation for someone I didnt know, I should have gotten out of the chair and reschedule with a dentist elsewhere. I mentioned to the dentist that I had a wisdom tooth pulled in April of 2017 and I bleed for more than 24 hours. I explained my daughter has a diagnosed bleeding disorder which the Dr. believes was from me. He seemed uninterested. After his brief exam he seemed more interested in talking me into a dental implant than anything else early that Monday morning. When he told me the out of pocket cost for the implant I told him I couldnt afford it. Which then Dr. HACK appeared. He injected me with numbing medication and within 30 seconds he started working on removing my tooth. He was not gentle or caring at this point. By the time that he was finished my mouth was full of blood, he ushered me out of the exam room to the front door. No waiting to see if the bleeding would slow down. I left the building called my daughter who was an RN, she talked to me as my mouth was filling up with blood I sat in the parking lot letting the blood gush from my mouth. I didnt go back in as my daughter suggested because, I knew this dentist was so unprofessional I didnt want to have anything to do with him. This dentist knew I was going to work( I am a supervisor at a Bank) after this never did he suggest a Dr. excuse instead he was more interested in pushing vicodine down my throat, when I declined he said everyone wants this. I said I didnt want that I would take Advil instead. My suggestion would to watch this dentist in action and how he interacts with patients, I dont believe he has their best interest at heart. His motive was to get me to spend money that I didnt have. I have been coming to Dental Associates since the 1980s and I can tell you this dentist was the absolute worst.
could have used an explanation of bone graft in advance. was told I was only going for tooth extraction.
satisfied with dental work done by dentist.
I enjoyed everything about my experience!
Dr. L.s explanation of my treatment options when I asked about ORIF was You dont want a big scar do you? Thats what youll get. When I asked out post-op instructions I was told I needed a PT. He told me later I did not need emergency wire cutters for wired jaw - and only when I asked specifically about them. Didnt talk much.
I have anxiety going to the dentist which is listed on my chart. During the extraction I felt pain. I notified them immediately but I felt rushed while I was in the chair. I cancelled the second extraction on the stop after I felt the pain of the first extraction. This was a difficult experience for myself.
Im very concerned with my upcoming dental surgery.
Tooth pulled quickly. Only in dentist chair about 10 mins.
I was impressed greatly with the expertise of Dr. Laspisa in the extraction of the root of the tooth that had broken off with only the root remaining - expected 2 injections (as in fillings) but he explained only I was necessary and there was no need to overcompensate the jaw later.
all was very good. I especially like the Dr. Joseph LaSpisa. Very good surgeon.. Pulled 4 teeth. No pain.
The doctor explained everything well.
Loved my dentist. Very funny, easy to understand, and helpful
Dentist was condescending in reviewing procedure and discussing surgery.
Dr LASPISA and William were amazing. I felt weak that day and William walked me to the car and made sure I was okay.
Doctor was professional and answered all my questions.
This was the first time I had been seen by the oral surgeon. He was very comforting before, during, and after the procedure.
Dentist spent hardly any time with us at consultation and never talked to us day of treatment
He was good and new what he was doing and walked me thro the process. So was Tina
He didnt wait any time between numbing shot & pulling tooth had to stop him very rough person.
very poor experience. seemed that doctor was in a hurry.
came in for a consultation and the dentist tapped on a tooth that needs a root canal by another dentist and left the dentist in pain, that Sunday the cap on the tooth he tapped fell off.
After my operation was done the surgeon took his gloves off & left. He didnt explain how the procedure went & what to expect. He said absolutely nothing to me. He just left the room.
I felt as though he sees so many wisdom teeth patients he just says the same thing to all of them.
Great Doctor and easy to talk to.
As I said, Dr. Laspisa is a great dentist.
Dr. Laspisa has been great.
He made me laugh and had calmed my nerves.
Dr. Laspisa took the time to go over the procedures that he will be performing and what I could expect.
Talked with the Doctor once, his assistant was knowledgeable and helpful
Dr. Laspisa is excellent!
I'm italian, english is my second language and I asked to speek slowly . the doctor had patience.
surgeon was very thoughtful and took time to explain everything and apologized for the wait time
The dentist had a really good chair side manner,
would Never recomend this oral surgeon or the assistant
Took the time to explain procedure and possible future dental needs.
We were very happy with our consultation.
Exceptional - I could not have asked for any better treatment - result unbelievable service!! The best!!
I like that the Dr. explained what he was doing from beginning to end not to often that Doctor do this anymore
Answered all questions.
The doctor was very rough and I woke up during the operation twice and he just kept going. The rest of the staff was very nice. Shelly for one did an outstanding job answering questions.I feel the pain could have been lesser of the doctor was more gentle. He even stuck me with the needle before the nova cane kicked in. The ma was a butcher if u ask me.
The hygienist did most of the work- not the dentist. The hygienist explained my four options not the dentist. Dr. Laspisa came in rather abrupt and overly confident and narcissistic in his educational background and in his responses.
Best dental experience I've ever had. Dr Laspisa and all your staff are experts.
This surgeon traumatized me and was aggressive and rude. I cried through most of the procedure. He said very inappropriate things and showed no concern for my comfort. I will drive to another location if I ever need a surgeon again!!
Dr. Laspisa spoke to me (mother) after Alex's wisdom teeth were extracted and was very down to earth. It made me feel comfortable as a parent.
The dentist was funny!
DDS showed no compassion at all. NOT FRIENDLY.
