About Me
"I am passionate about life long learning and teaching. As a professor at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry I am able to give back to the dental community by educating the next generation of dentists. I see the dental students start out with little-to-no knowledge of dentistry and watch them grow into exceptional practicing dentists. As a life long learner I have consistently taken 3 times or more the amount of continuing education required and learning the latest and most advanced techniques to serve our patients. I utilize the latest technology in dentistry, like the Periolase Dental Laser and computer guided implant planning and placement, to offer our patients the most advanced and up to date procedures that dentistry has to offer. It is also important to me to educate my patients on the condition of their oral health and their dental needs, then have a two-way conversation on what my patients needs are to be able to then work together to achieve a beautiful smile and and healthy tissues that they can keep for a lifetime."
